Peewee BB Ice Kats win Round 2 in Overtime thriller versus first place Whitby Wolves!

Congratulations to the Peewee BB Ice Kats for their upset win over the Belleville Bearcats in their LLFHL East first round match up.

The Peewee BB Ice Kats took a night off during the busy Christmas season to lend a hand at the Kawartha Food Share on Dec.22.

The Peterborough Peewee BB Ice Kats have put together a strong first half to the 2016-17 hockey season. The girls have posted a record of  24-12-1 including exhibition games, tournaments & Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) play and have shown themselves capable of competing at the top of the category with victories over division leading teams from Toronto, Scarborough & Napanee.

The Peewee BB Ice Kats claimed the gold medal in their home tournament Dec.4 with a convincing 2-0 victory over the Lindsay Lynx in the championship game. Ashtyn Hickey lead the attack with 2 goals on assists by Taylor Yanagdiara, Grace Murphy, Olivia Onafrychuk and Delaney Hancock. Hannah McKenzie provided shutout goaltending to anchor a solid defensive effort by Beth Morton, Koo Williams, Tieler Laurie, Alexis Tataryn & Onafrychuk.
