The Peterborough Midget AA Ice Kats, sponsored by Kings Auto Wreckers and the Ruttle Group, have earned the right to compete in the OWHA provincial championships after sweeping the West Northumberland Wild in a best-of-five series.

The Peterborough Midget AA Ice Kats, sponsored by the Ruttle Group and Kings Auto Wreckers, rallied late to win Game 1 of their provincial playdown series 3-2 against West Northumberland Wild on Thursday night at the Evinrude Centre.

The Peterborough Midget AA Ice Kats, sponsored by Kings Auto Wreckers and The Ruttle Group, only managed to score 1 goal in 2 games but still earned a tie and a win.

The Peterborough Midget AA Ice Kats, sponsored by the Ruttle Group and Kings Auto Wreckers, were treated to some International competition at the Vaughan Sports Village on Saturday night, playing against a women’s hockey team from the People’s Republic of China.

The Peterborough Midget AA Ice Kats participated in the 64 team Stoney Creek Midget AA Showcase Tournament over the weekend and played 5 teams from south of the border.
