Atom BB, U11, 2015-2016 (Peterborough Girls Hockey Association)

The Kats recently took part in the 22nd Annual Roadrunners Tournament. The competition was excellent  with many of the top teams from across the province participating. In the opening game, Morgan Flannigan was very sharp in goal and Delaney Hancock scored the game winner as the Kats defeated the Chatham Outlaws 1-0.  Ashtyn Hickey earned an assist. Flannigan was selected the KEWL player of the game.

The Kats suffered their first loss in LLFHL regular season play January 6 losing 3-0 to their rivals in West Northumberland. The Wild jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead during a shaky first period; however, the Kats regrouped and generated quality scoring chances throughout the second and third period that were denied by the excellent play of the Wild goaltender. 

The Atom BB Ice Kats opened the New Year with a home and home exhibition series against the powerhouse Etobicoke Dolphins. Both teams entered the weekend atop the standings within their respective Divisions in the LLFHL and showed their quality in two very competitive and well played games.

The Peterborough Atom BB Ice Kats have quietly put together a stellar record during both tournament & Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) play during the 2015-16 hockey season.
