Girls achieve their FIRST win!!!
It's no secret that the Atom B Ice Kats (#1481) have had to work hard this season!
They started their season out as a C team, forced in to the B loop for LLFHL. The team, mostly comprised of new-to-rep girls, have worked consistently hard throughout the start of this season to show that they are dedicated to the sport.
With a coaching staff who set out with a goal to develop these girls throughout the season, a group of parents who commit themselves to the selfless act of ensuring their daughters are at each practice and game; and, a group of girls who are passionate about hockey- we knew a win (and a well-deserved one at that) was in the cards at some point! The girls achieved this victory today with a 2-1 win over the Otonabee Wolverines!
This win was monumental for the girls, and we look forward to more in the near future!
