ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE TRYOUT REGISTRATION ONLINE PRIOR TO ATTENDING YOUR FIRST TRYOUT.

Your tryout registration number will be provided to you at the first tryout.

Tryouts will begin Wednesday April 23rd

The PGHA encourages players to tryout at least one level above where you played last year.

If you played for another OWHA centre during the 2018-2019 season, or at any time in the past, you will require a Permission to Skate or a release before you will be allowed to participate in tryouts.  If you played in a boy’s organization you do not require a PTS or a release.

Players may be released after the first tryout.  Coaches may utilize electronic release early in the tryout process.
Final releases will be conducted in person.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OPTION WILL BE CUT OFF AT 6:00PM ON MONDAY APRIL 22nd.

AFTER THIS TIME, TRYOUT PAYMENT WILL BE MADE BY CHEQUE OR CASH AT THE TIME OF YOUR FIRST TRYOUT.

2019-2020 Tryout Passport Fees

Novice/Atom - $45

Peewee/Bantam/Midget - $60

Int/Senior -$15/tryout

This will be the only fee you pay regardless of the number of tryouts you attend.

You can pay for tryouts on-line by credit card when registering on-line, or by cash or cheque before the first tryout.
As many people are aware Hockey Canada has mandated significant changes to the Novice Program that applies to all hockey organizations (boys & girls).   As required by Hockey Canada we will be hosting 4 evaluation skates for 7 & 8 year old players in April, official tryouts will be held in the fall. We will continue to provide updates from LLFHL and OWHA as they become available.

The Intermediate team will run 2 tryouts in the spring with additional sessions being held in September.

Senior tryouts will be run in September 2019.

Both teams will play in the LLFHL for the 2019-2020 season.

The PGHA has had inquiries regarding 4th teams.  If the numbers warrant, the PGHA will consider a 4th team if supported by OWHA and LLFHL.  This will be monitored throughout tryouts.  The PGHA suggests players attend at least the 3rd team tryout skates in order for an accurate assessment of potential players to be made.

Players are to bring a shirt with them.  Pinnies will be provided.

For questions regarding tryouts contact VP of Rep Rob Hatfield [email protected].
