.What The Peewee BB Ice Kats Have Been Up to Over the Season!
HALLOWEEN FUN AT PHANTOM FARM!
On a dark, cold night on they way home from Kingston, some brave souls made a stop of Phantom Farm. All the girls made it through the hay ride, while eight courageous girls entered the barn and made it through! A fun, but creepy night!

BUILDING CHRISTMAS HAMPERS!
On December 11th, Peewee BB Ice Kats and Coaches donated their time to a very worthwhile organization in Peterborough. The girls helped to build Christmas Hampers at the Salvation Army. The Peewee BB coaches truly believe that getting the girls involved in the community is an important life lesson. It is because of volunteers, that The Salvation Army is able to make such a positive impact on the lives of many individuals in Peterborough.
These girls were part of an amazing group of volunteers that - between the Toy Shop and Christmas Hamper Program, were able to provide 2569 children in Peterborough with Toys or gift cards AND provide 1347 families and 696 individuals with Christmas Hampers full of food.
Great Job Girls!

POTLUCK LUNCH and LETTERS TO CANADIAN ARMED FORCES MEN AND WOMEN WITH KINGSTON ICE WOLVES!
On December 15th, the Peewee BB's played a double header against the Kingston Ice Wolves at Norwood Arena. In the spirit of the season, the team invited the Kingston Ice Wolves to participate in a potluck lunch together between games. After lunch, the girls were paired with Kingston Ice Wolves, where they took time to write letters to Canadian Armed Forces men and women oversees. Way to go Ice Kats and Ice Wolves, what a true example of sportsmanship! We are very proud of you for demonstrating maturity and working with opponents off the ice, doing something so worthwhile. We hope the letters bring a smile to the men and women oversees that were not able to be home with their families over the holidays!

FUN TIMES AT CHRISTMAS AND A VISIT FROM SANTA!
On December 23rd, the girls got into the spirit of things with a Team Christmas Party! After an exciting 1-1 game vs Whitby...the girls had a team dinner, Gingerbread House Competition and Games, followed by a Christmas gift exchange. BUT...we can't forget the visit from Santa himself! Too bad coach Bill wasn't around to see him...OR MAYBE HE WAS!
