The goal of Hockey Canada is not to put players in the NHL, but rather to ensure a meaningful, enjoyable experience.
This is not to say that we don’t want boys and girls to achieve the highest levels possible, but rather if we go about it the right way they will have a better chance.
The Hockey Canada website is full of player development resources. The Hockey Canada Drill Hub is a new resource for coaches of all levels.
Skill development is vital to players at every level and age.

Hockey Canada’s Skills Development Camps were developed to provide players with an opportunity to enhance their fundamental skills in a positive, learning environment.
The primary focus of these camps is centered on on-ice fundamental skills, with time scheduled for life skill enhancement in areas such as respect, fitness and teamwork.
