Niagara Rapids Fall Classic Silver Medallists!
The BB Ice Kats played in their first tournament of the season, the Niagara Rapids Fall Classic, this past weekend.  In pool play, the Ice Kats were undefeated, beating the Ancaster Avalanche 7-1, the Orillia Hawks 3-1, and the London Devilettes 2-0.  In the semi-final game, the Ice Kats faced the Cambridge Roadrunners.  At the end of regulation and OT the score remained tied 2-2.  After four rounds of the shoot out, the Ice Kats were victorious!  The championship game was a nailbiter, with the Ice Kats falling short in a 1-0 loss to the Etobicoke Dolphins.  The girls had a great weekend both on and off the ice. What an incredible start to the season!
