"El Fuego" Leads The Way
Following a 1-1 weekend, a hot start lead the Bantam BB Ice Kats to a 3-1 win over the North Durham Blades at the Memorial Centre Tuesday night.
Hailey "El Fuego" Chittick erupted for three goals to lead the Kats. But for a couple posts, El Fuego could have had more. Chittick's six shots were also a team high.
Emma Sloan contributed three assists, with Brooke Jank and Kaitlinn Blancher also added helpers. Maddy Flannigan was solid in net when called upon.
The Canadian Legion Player of the game was Hailey Chittick.
