ON THE ICE: Offering AA, A, BB, B and C; All divisions with 8 or more teams will play Quarters, Semi’s and Finals; all teams will be guaranteed 4 games.
Building on the success of Pink the Rink IV, which featured 184 teams and more than 2500 hockey players, The Etobicoke Dolphins are pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 tournament – October 17-19 in Toronto.
The tournament will once again feature the Mastercard Centre for Hockey Excellence as its home venue. This state of art facility is the practice home for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Marlies and the Toronto Furies; home of the Hockey Hall of Fame Archives; and, the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame. In addition, this year’s event will feature a second tournament centre – at the 4 pad Canlan Ice Sports Etobicoke.
On Saturday, October 18, Pink the Rink V will play host to a CWHL game as the defending Clarkson Cup Champions – the Toronto Furies and Calgary Inferno hit the ice at Mastercard Centre.
All tournament games will be played in the City’s west end.
Popular events will be back, including the Best Pinked-Out Team; the Pink Puck Toss; plus, many other events at the host arenas.
