Girls Hockey Skill Program - Kenner CVI
Submitted By WM on Friday, July 1, 2016
Kenner CVI is offering a girls hockey skills program for the upcoming school year.

This program is a chance for players to take their game to the next level! This before school program is from Mondays-Thursdays including two on-ice and two off-ice sessions.

The program runs in first semester and upon completion, they will obtain a high school credit and students can remain registered at their current home school.

What this could mean for them is that they can take a spare that semester, or even save it for their senior years to lighten the load.

The program is a skills based program where the girls will have a chance to fine tune their hockey skills.  Although it is a team sport, we will not be focusing on team tactics and strategies (we leave that up to their coaches!) The off-ice portion will be comprised of fitness based programming.  For some girls who see a future in hockey, this is a great way for them to see more ice-time and work on their personal fitness. For other girls who just have a love of the game, this is an opportunity to spend more time enjoying hockey, without it conflicting with other sports.
