A few words from
Coach Jake Desautel…
The U18BB Ice Kats have had a very strong year finishing in 1st place in their league with an overall season record of 39-17-9. They went on to win the East League playoffs defeating Clarington in the 1st round in 3 games and fighting back to defeat Oshawa after losing game 1 and tying game 2 with a hard fought 5-2 win in game 3 and a 1-0 win in the OT period. They have moved on to round 3 where they will play Markham Tuesday March 17th at 8:30pm Miskin. The team has also clinched a spot in the Provincial Tournament in April.
The U18BB team were also winners of the Nepean Tournament going 4-0-1 defeating Kemptville in OT in the finals.
This group included players from 7 different teams who came together and have supported each other throughout the year developing strong connections on and off the ice. The coaches are extremely proud of the sportsmanship, teamwork, and effort displayed by the players this year.
Congratulations U18BB!
