A few words from
Coach Tyler McDannold…
What a season for the House League U11 Peterborough ICE Kats! From the first puck drop to the final whistle, this team showed incredible growth, resilience, and teamwork.
This year was especially special for six of our girls as it was their first year playing hockey.
After battling through a tough schedule against Ennismore, West Northumberland, and Lindsay, the ICE Kats kept improving all season long. The team saved their best for the playoffs, earning a big 2–1 road win over West Northumberland before finishing the season with an exciting 4–3 victory in the Bronze Medal Game to bring home the 🥉 Bronze Medal!
Off the ice the memories were just as special — from team lunch at Jesse’s in Ennismore, to laser tag at Zap Attack, and being flag holders at the Peterborough Petes Pink in the Rink game.
So proud of this group of players for their hard work, sportsmanship, and team spirit all season long.
Way to go ICE Kats! 💙🐾
