Congratulations Steve Moloney – Head Coach, U11 Tier 2 (2026–2027)
The Peterborough Girls Hockey Association (PGHA) is pleased to announce and congratulate
Steve Moloney as the Head Coach of the U11 Tier 2 Ice Kats for the 2026–2027 season.
Steve has been actively involved in minor hockey development in the Peterborough community for many years. During the 2025–2026 season, he served as Head Coach of the PGHA U9A team while also coaching with the Peterborough Hockey Association (PHA) U5 program. Prior to that, Steve was Head Coach of the PGHA U9B team during the 2024–2025 season, where he focused on skill development, team play, and fostering a strong work ethic and sportsmanship among his players.
Steve’s earlier coaching experience includes serving as Head Coach with the U7 program at the Peterborough Minor Hockey Association (PMHA) during the 2023–2024 season and Assistant Coach at the U7 level the year prior, helping young players develop their foundational hockey skills and passion for the game.
Steve is known for creating a positive, inclusive team environment where players, coaches, and families all feel valued and part of the team’s success. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, teamwork, trust, and a positive attitude, while supporting the development of confident players who enjoy the game and support one another.
