The Peterborough Girls Hockey Association (PGHA) is pleased to announce
and congratulate Andrea Racine as the Head Coach of the U11 Tier 1 Ice
Kats for the 2026–2027 season.Andrea brings valuable playing and coaching experience to the role,
including coaching at the U9 and U11 levels, along with experience in Senior
A and B hockey. As a former female hockey player, Andrea understands both
the technical demands of the game and the unique challenges girls face in
sport.
Andrea’s coaching philosophy is built on the belief that confidence,
competence, and connection are the foundation of long-term success, on and
off the ice. She leads with a genuine love for the game, a commitment to
learning and continued certification, and a strong focus on supporting athlete
development. Andrea is also passionate about strengthening the Ice Kats program
by helping retain local talent within PGHA.
