U15AA Coach Selection
The Peterborough Girls
Hockey Association is pleased to announce Scott Johnson as Head Coach of the
U15AA Ice Kats for the 2026–2027 season.
Scott brings strong leadership, clear communication, and a proven track record of player development within the OWHA and OMHA. A former five-year varsity hockey player at the University of Toronto, Scott holds degrees in Education and Kinesiology, which strongly inform his teaching-based approach to coaching.
His coaching philosophy focuses on developing skilled, confident, and resilient athletes in a positive, team-first environment. Scott emphasizes technical skill development, hockey IQ, preparation, discipline, and accountability, while prioritizing long-term growth and the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of each athlete.
PGHA is excited to welcome Scott to the bench and looks forward to the leadership and development he will bring to the U15AA Ice Kats program.
