The U15A Peterborough Ice Kats went undefeated to make it to the finals in Provincials this past weekend losing a tough 1-0 loss to take home silver.Starting the tournament off we shut out the number 1 ranked team Stoney Creek with a 2-0 win. Emily Fleming earned the shut out.
Having only 1 goal against in 3 games we finished 1st in our pool and 4th seed after round robin play earning us a bye to the quarter finals where we dominated Brantford with a 2-0 win. Cece Beaulne earned the shut out.
Advancing to Championship Sunday we beat London to advance to the finals.
The girls played with heart, grit, and determination all
year long and it showed with 3 tournament gold medals and 2 silver out of 6
tournaments. Definitely a season to remember that represented Peterborough
well.
