2022 PGHA Scholarship Winner!!
Congratulations to Mya Payne who has been selected as the 2022 PGHA Scholarship Winner!
Mya is currently attending the University of New Brunswick studying business with a goal of becoming a chartered accountant.
Mya shared her love of hockey started at the age of 5, she began playing hockey with the boys and then transitioned to the PGHA in grade 5. Mya played Rep hockey with the PGHA for 6 years prior to COVID and then moved to House League where she could focus on playing games as well as mentoring younger players. Mya is also an accomplished speed skater and she recently qualified to represent New Brunswick at the Canada Winter Games in Charlottetown, PEI in February.
