NATIONAL COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (NCCP) 

Hockey Canada’s National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) is a competency-based program. The program enables coaches to build their coaching tools and knowledge of the game, so they can work effectively with their players. Within the Hockey Canada structure the Community Coach Stream, Competition Introduction Stream, Competition Development Stream and Instructional Stream are delivered at the provincial level.

Development 1 certification requirements

You are considered 'Trained' once you have attended a D1 clinic and completed all of the in class tasks.  

In order to obtain your 'Certified' status, you must have successfully achieved your 'Trained Status' completed the written assignment, completed the MED Community Sport (online) and successfully complete a field evaluation.

The field evaluator will contact you to arrange times to view your practice and game.
