PGHA Scholarship Winner!
We are honoured to announced that the PGHA Scholarship winner for this year is Lauren Jeffery.
Lauren has been an Ice Kat for 10 years, having played her last season in our U18AA division. Lauren is a great hockey player, but more importantly, she has been greatly contributing to our community. Lauren has volunteered to help mentor young hockey players in our first shift program, as well as working at hockey camps, volunteering for Kawartha Food share, fundraising for various charities, running Dubuque University's first ever learn to skate program, and being an honour roll student.
Lauren is studying Health Sciences and hopes to become a physiotherapist specializing in sports rehabilitation. Lauren is playing NCAA Division 3 hockey on Dubuque University's inaugural women's team as women's hockey continues to rapidly grow. We wish you great success!
