Peterborough U15 AA Ice Kats ranked tops in Canada
The Peterborough Cavanagh Disposal U15 AA Ice Kats opened the season ranked No. 1 in Canada in the www.myhockeyrankings.com ratings.
The Ice Kats possess a 16-1 record so far this season which includes a 6-0 mark in winning the Clarington Applefest tournament, a 3-0 slate in league play from Oct. 15 to 17 and 7-1 performance in exhibition games.
“Being ranked once again No. 1 in Canada roughly 18 months after the last rankings came out pre-COVID is validation for the players, parents and coaches that we have a very committed, talented and special group that continues to only focus on what they can control,” said Ice Kats coach Chris Moher.
They will play in their second tournament this weekend in North York.
