Bantam A's Win on Season Opener
Submitted By Mike Foote on Thursday, October 11, 2018
Great start to the first game of league play. The Bantam A's main goal was to keep the flow going from pre season. An away game to start the season was going to be a tough one but the Ice Kats stepped on the ice ready to play. With hard work, great pressure from the forwards and steady defense they proved to be the winning team on the ice beating West Northumberlad 1-0. From the drop of the puck the Bantam A's took control and never looked back.  Goaltending from West Northumberland was our Toughest part of the game. We could not put the puck past there goalie.

Shots were 35-6

Goal By:- Grace Murphy (1)

Asst:- Ashley Condon (1)

Hanna McKenzie kept sharp throughout the game keeping the crease cleared.
