Bantam A's Take A Hard Loss
Submitted By Mike Foote on Wednesday, September 12, 2018
The bantam A Ice Kats took there bumps and bruises tonight at the Kinsmen against Lindsay. It look promising in the first period scoring first at 8:38 with being out shot 10-3. The play was back and forth throughout the 2nd period with both teams scoreless going into the 2nd period intermission.

The 3rd period was a whole different game plan from Lindsay and ourselves. Lindsay came out hard and put us on our heels and trapped us in our own end walking away with a goal in there first shift of the 3rd at 13:21. It wasn't long after that Lindsay's momentum was hard and furious in the Ice kats end. The girls were pressured hard again and Lindsay pounded on our mistakes and created another opportunity at 9:41 of the 3rd.

With some notables in this game the Ice Kats did very well on penalty killing especially killing off a 5 on 3.

The Bantam A's will walk away from this game learning from the mistakes that were made which created Lindsay's opportunities.

A good hockey team will always grow from these mistakes and capitalize on teams that will make the same ones they have done.

Have A Great Weekend Girls
