WOW! Bantam A's That Was A Hockey game
What an exciting game at the Evinrude last night. The Bantam A's were asked to come out working hard at the first drop of the puck to show who's boss and they did exactly that. The Ice Kats were rewarded late In the 1st period with a goal. The game was back and forth throughout the 2nd period but Durham West put on the pressure late in the 2nd and bounced one in.
With a little rest in the 2nd intermission the Bantam A's came out flying in the 3rd and posted another marker early in the 3rd taking a 2-1 lead. The 3rd was a battle of heart for both teams battling back and forth. With the Ice Kats taking a late penalty in the 3rd with approximately 2 min to go Durham West came out with a 6 on 4. The Ice Kats held on as best as they could but at 20 seconds left Durham tied it up. Its a hard one to swallow lady's but hold your heads high as this was a game to watch. It's always really exciting to watch a good pre season hockey game . Keep up the hard work Bantam A' Ice Kats.
