Fitzsimmons Towing & Repair Peewee BB Ice Kats Win Silver at Clarington Applefest
Congratulations to the Peewee BB Ice Kats for WINNING a silver medal at the Clarington Applefest Tournament Oct 13th-15th!!In tournament action, the girls battled hard in their first game against North Halton Twisters on Friday, where the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
In the 2nd game of the tournament, the girls came out blazing with a 7-1 win over the Oshawa Lady Generals.
On Saturday, the girls played in their 3rd game against Gloucester-Cumberland Stars, where they were defeated 3-1.
The fourth game was a must win, where the girls faced Whitby Wolves. The girls played extremely well, earning the 3-1 victory and advanced to the gold medal game.
The gold medal game was a hard fought battle, but unfortunately ended in a 4-0 loss to Gloucester-Cumberland Stars.
The coaching staff and parents are very proud of how hard the girls played over the weekend. Keep up the great work girls!
