The Peterborough Ice Kats are excited to announce the start of a Novice DS program. This team will be made up of girls 5, 6 and 7 years old who are currently playing rep hockey in boys organizations, boys or girls house league or maybe they want to try hockey for the first time.
The first tryout will be held on
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12 - 515-615 PM at Evinrude IGA. The team will skate once a week on Thursday evenings.
At this time we are not sure of the cost as it depends on the number of girls on the team. Obviously the highest expense is ice cost. There are also tournament entry fees and the cost of referees. Once the team is chosen the coaches will prepare a team budget. We hope to keep the cost of this program to a minimum with the assistance of sponsors.
