Icekats Regain Scoring Touch
After hitting a bit of a dry spell for scoring, the Midget B Icekats came back with a vengeance against the Lindsay Lynx on Wednesday night, popping home 7 goals.
The Icekats showcased their potent offense with all three lines and the defense all contributing to the scoring. Scoring on this night were Jo Lynn Stonefish, Megan Gordon, Bryanna Foster, Kate Watson, Emma Sloan, and two by Elizabeth Semlitch.
Assisting on goals this night were Mya Burnie, Elizabeth Semlitch, Megan Gordon, Caroline Pind, Bryanna Foster. Adding two assists each were Jo Lynn Stonefish, Grace Landon and Jenna DeNoble.
Another stellar goaltending performance was put in by Zoe Manion, allowing only one shot to get by her.
Now, after a couple of weeks with only games and no practices, we have a couple of practices coming up where we can start to work on some of the issues from the past 11 games. The record over these 11 games was 8-1-2, so it is mostly some fine tuning, and getting better at what we already do well.
