Hard Work Continues to Show!
The hard work the girls put forth on the ice payed off for them this weekend. The girls ended the weekend with 2 big victories.
On Friday the girls took on the Cold Creek Comets in Game #1 of their Playoff series. Our girls were victorious with a 5 - 0 win. Goals were scored by Natalie "The Bear" McVicker (assisted by Mya Payne and Fiona Miller), Emily Berberich (assisted by Brooke Burns and Kate Van Parys), Fiona Miller (assisted by Mya Payne and Natalie McVicker), Sophie Hill (assisted by Brooke Buck and Reign Pinter) and Fiona Miller (assisted by Mya Payne and Natalie McVicker). Sydnee Caley worked hard in net to earn herself another shutout.
The series continued on Sunday with Game #2. The girls worked hard down to the wire to earn the win with a score of 2 - 1. Goals were scored by Faith Rogerson-Hunter (assisted by Fiona Miller and Natalie McVicker)and Fiona Miller (assisted by Mya Payne and Natalie McVicker). Sydnee Caley worked hard in net to help the team earn the win!
The series sweep earns the girls a spot in the second round of Playoffs where the girls will face off against the Bancroft Jets.
