Novice B WIN BRONZE Medal at LLFHL Championships!
The Novice B Ice Kats brought home the BRONZE Medal from the Lower Lakes Championships this past weekend in North York.

The Peterborough Ice Kats Novice B team has had an outstanding season, finishing 1st overall in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League East Division.  Over the course of the season, the girls had an almost flawless regular season with a 20-1-1 record.  Through regular season the girls scored an amazing 123 goals and only had 13 against!

Winning the LLFHL East Division took the girls to the Lower Lakes Championship Weekend on April 1st and 2nd in North York, where they faced the top teams from LLFHL Central East (Durham West Lightning), South Central (North Halton Twisters) and West (Wilmot Wolverines) Divisions.  The girls played outstanding hockey, where each and every game was very close, back and forth, edge of your seat action!  The team came home with the BRONZE medal, and the wonderful memories that go along with such an awesome experience!

The Novice B Ice Kats have also earned a spot in the Provincial Championships taking place this upcoming weekend, where they will compete against teams from all across Ontario.

Way to go girls, you should be very proud of yourselves for finishing 3rd out of 26 teams in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League Novice B Division!  Your hard work and dedication has paid off!

A special thank you goes to all the Coaching Staff, Goalie Coach, Den Mom's and Parents for making this season not only successful on the ice, but also off the ice!  It's been a great year!
