Intermediate A Ice Kats advance to round 2 of LLFHL playoffs
Solid goaltending by Allison Juniper in game one and Taylor McVeigh in game two, led the Intermediate A Ice Kats team to a two game sweep of the Etobicoke Dolphins by scores of 3-2 and 2-0, respectively.
The team built a lead in each of the games and then played solid defensive hockey to protect those leads. The team is currently playing some of its best hockey of the season and the timing couldn't be better with playoffs in full swing and the Provincials just around the corner. The team now awaits the winner of Oshawa and Kingston series for their second round opponent.
