With the number of skaters at the Novice B tryouts, the PGHA is excited at the prospect of developing our novice program. If your daughter has been released from the Novice B team, we invite and encourage you to complete the following survey questions. This information will allow the PGHA to determine the best course of action for this age group. WE ARE REQUESTING EACH PLAYER TO COMPLETE THIS SURVEY, EVEN IF YOUR DAUGHTER WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO PLAY WITH THE PGHA FOR THE 2016-2017 SEASON. LLFHL Novice Rep "C" Team^*

This team will play in the LLFHL 'B' loop. In this loop, the team will play 22 games and participate in tournaments. Last season, each of our Novice and Atom team averaged 93 hours of ice. Ice allocation would be similar for 16-17. This team would have the option of recatting to Novice C for the Provincial Championship tournament.

Novice Development League^*

Players in this league will be on the ice 2 times per week with their league teams. There will be a high practice to game ratio with a strong focus on skill development. Players will play small area games at each ice with full ice games being played at regular intervals throughout the year. Players in this league will have the opportunity to play on the Novice Development Stream (DS) team. Beginning November 1, this team will have 1 additional ice time per week. This team will play exhibition games and attend tournaments. Novice Development League games and DS ice times will not be scheduled on the same days. DS ice time will be scheduled on the same night each week. Novice Development League ice is scheduled with one ice time during the week and one ice on the weekend. DS fees will be additional to the Novice Development League. Inorder to play on the DS team, players must be registered with the PGHA.
